Mona Vale Hospital ROI
The next step for the transformation of Mona Vale Hospital aims to provide a wider range of integrated health services to the local community than ever before.
Registrations of Interest are now being sought from health care providers for services at Mona Vale Hospital, complementing the acute care available at the new Northern Beaches Hospital when it opens in 2018.
It is anticipated that services could include:
• day surgery
• primary care services, including general practice
• family resource centre
• additional clinical support services, for example medical imaging, pathology and pharmacy
• medical suites
• mental health
• additional oral health
• additional rehabilitation and sub-acute services
• residential care facilities
• carer accommodation
These potential new services will be in addition to the planned Urgent Care Centre, inpatient geriatric and palliative care units. An ambulance base and helicopter transport services will also be retained at the Mona Vale site.
Responses to the ROI will be assessed to ensure they align with the identified priorities for local health care. Interested providers will also have to demonstrate they have the experience and capacity to deliver the services proposed.
Providers shortlisted through this process will be invited to submit detailed proposals in 2017.
Registrations of interest can be registered through the NSW Health eTendering Website (ref HI16470).
